Hi all. My harddrive crashed about two or three weeks ago. I called IBM/Lenovo tech service and got a new one in two days. However, I still haven't recieved the recovery disks to load XP on my computer (I never made those originally- lesson learned). I was wondering if there's some other way to get the disks or make them (maybe download them)....I'm not sure, just looking for a way to get my T42 up and running ASAP (need the comp for school). Thanks.

Call IBM and ask for them. Explain your need form them and possibly IBM/Lenovo can overnight the disks to you.

You could also ask around here on the forums or post a LF/WTB in the Marketplace for them and somebody would probably be glad to ship them to you for the cost of S&H.
