I'm looking for a macbook (...if anyone is interested feel free to post here or pm me. (Although actually money would be better right now as I may just have to go without a laptop for awhile so I can get my books for this semester

Ok, Here are the details:
Lenovo T60p 2623-D8U
14.1" SXGA+
2GHz T2500
ATI Mobility FireGL V5200 256MB
DVD+-R
100GB 7200RPM
WWAN
1GB RAM
Bluetooth/WiFi
Win XP Pro
9 Cell Battery
Fingerprint Reader

Manufactured on: 3/23/2006
Warranty Good until: 3/24/2009

It is used, for about a year (I bought it refurbished)

The only problem that I have been able to find with it, (and believe me, I looked as soon as I got it, I didn't want to be getting ripped off). Anyways, the only problem I found was that there is a small indentation to the right of the trackpad. It's actually right where your palm rests when you type. It's pretty hard to get a picture of it but it doesn't really affect anything at all.

The battery has been used quite a bit but will still hold between 3-4 hours. (It could get up to a little under 5 originally.)

Oh yeah, and pricing:
1.)I'm going to start at $1600 OBO. If $1600 is too high then offer.

I'm assuming a Macbook, since that is what he wants to replace the T60p with, but he isn't that clear about it.

Good machine but lots of dust on keyboard and scratches on the lid! You'd better clean it a little bit before taking a picture.

Doesn't anyone know how much is shipping cost to the UK and how much is the custom tax?

YES, clean it up and take new pictures..
its dusty and scuffed..
nice that it has the WWAN but this will be useless in europe..

for shipping:
call or go online with fedex for shipping cost to UK..
the DIM WEIGHT is 10 pounds..
if shipped in the original thinkpad carton..

their rates have changed but it USED to be about $125 to $150..

no customs, just VAT i think..
if its used, you can declare a lower value and hope fedex does not have a loss..
very rare but not impossible..
the last one was about 9 years ago when a fedex plane went up in flames on the runway and melted a customers 760ED on the way to memphis for warranty repair..

whoever buys this should get an extended warranty..

looking at the specs for your T60p, it shows that it has an IPS display..
is that accurate..?
is that 14 inch display a flexview display..?

well, it does not say that..
i looked the other night for a spec list and got something that showed the 14.1 as ips and that was a surprise thu my question..

the TABook, which is what i should have looked at shows the usual ips on some displays..

so the online store i looked at for a quick spec list was in error..

a case of foot in mouth disease on my part..
