FS (maybe): Palm m515

#1 Post by AlphaKilo470 » Mon Jan 22, 2007 1:14 am

I'm looking to sell my m515 if I happen to get a bid I like. The IR doesn't work but the screen is brand new (replaced earlier this month), the case is in great shape and a spare stylus is included. The AC adapter is missing but I have both, a USB and a serial port cradle I can include. The specs include 16mb RAM, SD slot, 33mhz Motorola Dragonball VZ CPU and a reflective TFT screen with multiple brightness levels and the ability to display 64k color. This handheld also has LED and vibrate LED alarm functions. I'll throw in for no cost a 128mb SD card.

PM me with best offer if interested.

Hi Alphakilo,

Did you try to do a hard reset to make the IR work?

Yes, I've tried that. Unfortunately, I don't think that'll work since there appears to be a deep ding or scratch across one of the leads to the actual IR sensor on the motherboard. It could probably be fixed with a soldiering gun or something else simple but I just don't feel like taking it apart again. I'm guessing the lead got damaged either when I was replacing the battery or replacing the screen.
