FS: HP Jornada 680e *sold*

#1 Post by dorronto » Sun Feb 04, 2007 12:04 pm

I'm testing the "waters" with this one. This is a used but functional wireless Jornada 680e pda. This was sold to me by a member of the forum in same shape. Works excellent, I use it every day, but it's Windows CE, not Palm which is what I'm used to.

sold.sold.sold

Asking $90 shipped with wifi card and 256mg cf card, ac adapter, good battery, serial cable and nice leather case. This was a Dutch Railways conversion model which I took off. There are no buttons on the front for the audio functions.

PM me with any questions....

Thanks,
Ron

That's a nice price for a Jornada with WiFi card. I once owned a Jornada 720 and liked it a lot. It's almost as small as a PDA, but has a keyboard that's just big enough to type on.

Ron, do you still have the stylus? Are you also including the cradle?

Hey Ron...any pics?

My wife had a Jornada back in the 420 era, and she liked it, but it died....might be interested in another one...

No pics yet, Steve. I use his pda every day on the internet. Works fine. I have also synchronised it with my laptop. Word97 and the other programs also work.

I just want to use a Palm os, that's all.............

Very fair price. I recommend the seller and the device he's selling!

$90 is a steal. Not that this is anyones business, but I sold this to Ron not that long ago for $125. He's taking a sizable hit, but it's still worth well more than his asking price.

I can't believe this is still available! Maybe some pics would help?

Ron, what do you mean when you say it is a "Dutch Railways Conversion Model"? Did they lack audio functions by default?

My understanding was to eliminate features that weren't required for the work the company was doing. I didn't miss the buttons being absent.

They took fully functional units and added a base, which covered up the buttons on the bottom edge of the Jornada.
