I have purchased a used T23 off of Ebay and got ripped (false info on size of hd) - how I wish that I had found this forum first.
At any rate I am looking to replace my hard drive (see post below) and I also want to obtain a recovery Cd for this unit.
If you have one - let me know your asking price.

What is model/type number for the T23? I have recovery disks for both Win2K and WinXp.

Model is 2647 but that leads me to another question.
The computer has an XP Pro COA on the back but the XP Pro that is currently installed does not appear to be a legit copy (I found that out when I went to update Windows Media player),
So how do I put a legit XP Pro COA on this compter without having to buy this program. I do have Windows 2000 that came with a desk top that I use - if I can't legally install XP on the T23 can I put the Win 2000 system on it (Win 2000 is no longer being used on my desktop since I upgraded to XP Home).

You can use the T23 XP Recovery Disks on ANY T23 that has a WinXP COA on it. Infact, when you use the disks, it wont even ask you for the CD-Key.
EDIT: For clarification...using the recovery disks IS legal, and you would be sitting fine with a legitimate version of XP.
