For Sale IBM 600E

#1 Post by tony6264 » Sat Feb 10, 2007 6:33 pm

I have for sale a IBM 600E that I am selling for a friend of mine...I have checked it out and put a fresh install of Windows ME on it...it is a 366mhz, with 10 gig harddrive and 162 ram, comes with CD-rom drive and a battery that holds a charge...not sure how long , I have not tested it for duration, although it does show that it is taking a full charge....has a good LCD with only a minor pressure mark from the eraser head...This is a package deal..it also comes with a Netgear wireless G router and PCMCIA card, also wireless G. these are only about 6-8 months old and were only used a small portion of that time and the router still has the original box with it.....He is asking $200.00 for the whole deal.

OK...I have had time to fully test the battery and it only lasts about 20 mins.....it shows that it takes a full charge and works fine for about 20 mins and then out of nowhere it says that it needs to be plugged in...so in light of that, I am lowering the price to $175.00 for the package.

When Windows says "100% charged", it doesn't mean 100% of the battery's design capacity but instead 100% of whatever the current capacity is.

If you have a software such as Notebook Batteryinfo or MobileMeter, there's a feature to find out current capacity and you can compare that number to the design capacity.
