by yourself
Looking to see if I can get 14.1 model:

-Thinkpad T42P model, not just a T42.
-14.1 inch SXGA+ TFT LCD
-60 GB HD or higher, prefer 7200 RPM spin
-at least 512MB RAM, any amount higher is
acceptable
-128 MB FIRE GL T2 Video card
-at very least 1.8MHz Intel Pentium M
-CD-RW/DVD ROM or RW, doesn't matter,

If in Canada, even better bonus! :)

If you're unsuccessful in your search for a T42p, I have a great T42 that I might be interested in selling. It's a 2373-9XU. You can get complete specs here:

http://www5.pc.ibm.com/us/products.nsf/ ... p/_23739xu

RAM has been upgraded to 1GB, it's in perfect shape, and still under warranty for a couple more months.

If interested, please let me know.

I will be having a T42p for sale soon as soon as it comes back from service. The USB ports blew out and had the system board replaced under warranty.

Here are some of the specs of the machine if anyone's interested:
T42p
2.0 ghz Pentium M 755
2GB RAM
60GB 7200rpm HDD
15 UXGA(1600x1200) TFT LCD
128MB ATI FireGL T2
CD-RW/DVD-R Multi-Burner(slim)
IBM 802.11a/b/g wireless(MPCI)
Bluetooth/Modem(CDC)
1Gb Ethernet(LOM)
UltraNav, Secure Chip
9 cell Li-Ion battery
WinXP Pro

Shoot me with an offer. Please, no lowball offers.
The top right corner of the case has a small crack in it, but it's just cosmetic. The LCD screen is perfect, and has no dead pixels.

The machine is being restored to the factory image. There's about a year and a half left on the warranty. (depot)

Will ship to canada, but be prepared to wait 2-3 weeks for USPS and Canada post to deliver. I accept paypal, and if the offers arent what I'm looking for, off to eBay i go. :)

Thanks,
B

I have one that im not really looking to sell but depending on your offer I just may. Its about the same as bfgun's, except 1.8 ghz, and it only has a few more months of warranty left on it. But, it may have up to 4 batteries. 2, 9-cell's; 2, 6 cells. 1 nine cell and 1 6 cell have low cycle counts, the other 2 are about 275 or so. Also, depending on price as well I have an ultrabay battery with a very low count probably around 15 or so. PM me an offer and ill consider it possibly.
