Excellent deal at IBM certified used for X60 - $1345

IBM certified used has the foll. deal:
X60 (70469U) - with Core Duo 1.66 GHz, XP pro, 1 GB RAM,
100GB, 12.1" TFT, 6 moth warranty, thinkpad abg wifi with WWAN with
port replicator (CD-RW/DVD combo) for only
$1,345.50

That link goes to a used 69U X60s at $100 more. Still a great deal though.

I did mention that it was from IBM Certified Used. What are the chances that this is Ken's?

Just noticed you signature. I'm a model M fan myself, with a 1986 model at work, and a 1995 at home. Won't use anything else unless I'm mobile.

Get the same thing through usa.visa.com/personal and the price becomes $1,271!

hi, this is my first post. i'm new here...
i've been reading this forum in trying to decide which thinkpad to buy. you guys are great. it's been a big help.
pianowizard, i have one question: where did you find the x60s on usa.visa.com/personal for $1271? the best (starting) price that i found for the x60 and the x60s was $1899....

By "the same thing" I meant the used X60 that the OP was referring to. Get to Lenovo.com through usa.visa.com/personal like you did, and then click on "IBM Certified Used Equipment" on the left. When you see the "You are now leaving the Lenovo site" warning, clikc "Continue". That's it!

Hey, thats my computer right there, the 69U!
I paid $1799+tax back in July, new, with the 3yr warranty (Only a 6mo warranty on that one). Good to know that its holding its value.
