SOLD: IBM Thinkpad T40

Any one interested for a T40 2373-75u? This is my personal laptop and just got myself a T42 and no longer needed this one.

Motherboard was replaced by IBM before warranty expired due to broken usb port.

Battery is weak (~15mins)

asking $375 shipped CONUS... $350 local pick up. Give me an offer.

Non-CC paypal, cash for local pick up

Welcome aboard. Listing more details, being item specific, about your laptop for sale is encouraged here on the forum. Also, any pics, or a link to the pics is a plus.

$375 is a good price, but we have to know the whole story.

Original description: P M 1.5GHz, 512MB RAM, 40GB 5400rpm HDD, 14.1 XGA(1024x768) TFT LCD, 32MB ATI Radeon 7500, 16x10x24x/8x CD-RW/DVD(slim), Modem(CDC), 1Gb Ethernet(LOM), Cisco 802.11b Wireless(MPCI), Secure Chip(TCPA), UltraNav, 6 cell battery, WinXP Pro

The only thing that was changed on the original description was the memory. This was upgraded to 512MB RAM ( 2 sticks of 256MB).

I'm still looking for a server to dump the pictures but if anyone iinterested just PM me and I will email it.

Laptop is clean and has no cracks. Few minor scratches from normal use. LCD is in good condition.

I recommend using photobucket.com for hosting the pics..I use it all the time.

I also like photobucket. Image shack is decent too.

If you are advertising this T40 on your local Craigslist, you can upload the photos to Craigslist and post links to those photos here. That's what I did when I sold my Thinkpads on this forum last year.
