I have a budget of $600 total for a used Thinkpad T42 or T43. I am wondering if any of our forum members might be able to give me an offer for this price target.
I would definitely love the laptop to have at least 1.6 Mhz Pentium M, 512 Mb Ram, combo drive, and G-supported wireless card. An SXGA+ lcd would be excellent but I can live with a regular XGA screen.
Please pm me or reply here if you have an offer for me.
Thanks in advance.

620 is an awesome price for your laptop's spec. Let's hope that I could find something like that in the next couple of days.
Thanks for the response.

Ooops, I accidentally deleted my post about selling my T43 for $620 last month. Let me try again. My T43 had 1.86GHz P-M, 14.1" SXGA+, 80GB hard drive, 1x1GB PC2-4200 RAM, 802.11b/g, and a combo drive. I mentioned it just to give you a reference. I think you shouldn't pay more than $520 for a T-series with the minimum specs that you listed.

This T42 on eBay has a Buy-It-Now price of $594 shipped. The specs barely meet your requirements, but it has warranty through the end of 2007, and it's supposed to be in excellent condition, so I think it's worth considering it. The seller has 3 units available. Oh, the seller has a perfect feedback rating, too.
Just found another, potentially even better deal:
a T43 for $520 shipped! Not sure if it has warranty though, which is why I said "potentially even better".

Thank you for suggestions. I've already email the seller of the T43 to see if his laptop is still under warranty or not. I'll update here once he responds.

Great deals like this never last long. This T43 was just sold to someone named dprendz. I hope that's you!

it wasn't me. You're right, this kind of deal is gone quickly. I did not even have a chance to ask the seller anything.
