FS: IBM ThinkPad 240X PIII-500/192MB/30GB/Built-in WIFI
Hello Everyone,

Here are the spec. and condition info of my TP240X:
1. IBM ThinkPad 240X 2609-61U (SN: BA-ZPYPW), 192MB RAM, 30GB HD, Built-in 802.11a/b/g WIFI in fully working order and mint cosmetic condition. Since it shows sign of use on the keyboard(please refer to the photo link above), overall condition score I would give it 8/10(10:brand new). There is no dead pixel on LCD.
2. One(1) 3-cell battery (FRU#02K6606) actual capacity unknown
3. One(1) 6-cell battery (Aftermarket Replacement) actual capacity unknown
4. IBM POWER AC adapter (FRU#02K6543) 16V x 3.36A
5. USB 2.0 4 port hub with USB cable and power cable
6. NEW Kensington Three button Optical Mouse
7. USB Bluetooth v2.0 w/ EDR adapter (Driver included)
8. 3Com Megahertz 10/100 LAN+56K Modem PCMCIA card with both dongles (3CCFEM556B)
9. TUCANO laptop sleeve (Perfect fit, stylish and practical)
10. Original Modem mini-pci card will be included
Warranty: NONE (AS IS, garantee not DOA)
This laptop is around 3lb and in B5 size. It is perfect for people who use computers mainly for surfing the web and basic text/imaging tasks. The tiny/light profile makes it one of the most portable models at all time.
I am asking for $270 for everything listed above. I only ship to the lower 48 states by UPS. I accept Paypal non-creditcard payment only and buyer must have confirmed address. This post will be expired on 3/12 12:00am.

Yes. You are right. Originally it didn't come with wireless. The WIFI setup was added later on with antenna running inside the LCD panel (hidden inside the assembly) and replacing the modem mini-pci card with Winstron/Netegriti (model #EM-500AG (CM6)) which uses Atheros chips(with SuperG and XR support)

PS. I didn't see info on CM6 version on Wistron NeWeb website so I emailed them asking for more info about this card. I will add more info here once I receive anything from them later.
2. Item photos (recent) and some old 240x photos I took a while ago
