I have these listed on Anandtech, and someone there suggested that I might be able to find a buyer here. I've tried to read all the rules here, but please enlighten me if I've missed something specific to this forum :)

The Chips:
1x SL5CL 1.2ghz 512kb FRU: 26p8005
1x SL5CK 1.13ghz 512kb FRU 26p8082

I received these chips with some other hardware I purchased. They're untested, so if you purchase one and it doesn't work, I'll of course take it back and give you a full refund. I've got feedback on eBay (237), heatware (5ish), SoundDomain (on the "good guy" list) all under the same name.

$15 OBO each shipped USPS in the 48. Pay by PayPal if you want it fast, money order if you want it slow :) If by chance you just happen to be in Atlanta, GA you're of course welcome to pick them up from me and get a few bucks knocked off the price.

EDIT: Sold a 1.2, and the buyer states that it works just peachy

Bill,
Thanks for the suggestion. Once I get the T21 ready I'll split it off and post a price per the rules. I'm used to Anandtech where we're only allowed one FS thread at a time.

As far as only being here to sell stuff, I'm not exactly a Thinkpad user myself. My technical knowledge of Thinkpads is limited to replacing my girlfriend's T21 with a T40 and then throwing Linux on it under the guidance of ThinkWiki. I'm actually a :puts on flame suit: Toshiba Portege user and rarely have the chance to mess with any IBM/Lenovo hardware.

I greatly appreciate the openness of this forum to new members, especially the classifieds section. It's been my experience that specific stuff sells for less on forums that specialize so much, but buyers appreciate being able to find specific and sometimes hard to find parts AND actually know what they're buying. This stuff is just sitting around in my apartment and I'd much rather someone else have it, understand what he/she is buying, and actually use it rather than sell to the all-too-common eBay bozo that has increasing trouble even forming a complete sentance. With the responses I've gotten so far I'm very impressed with the user base. It's a very welcome change to see people sign their names when sending PM's around here :)

Does anybody know which Thinkpads are compatible with these chips? It looks like they should work with a T23, but what about a T21?

These chips appear to be compatible with the A30 and T23. They wouldn't be compatible with the T20, 21 and 22 due to having a different socket and a faster FSB than what those models support.

Sold one of the 1.2s and the buyer states it works fine :) Still have another 1.2 and the 1.13.
