I have a used T40 Pent M 1.5, 512 ram, 40gb hard drive and dvd drive possibly going for sale. Some people at work are interested. Works fine but has numerous scratches on the lcd. Usually, when surfing not really noticeable. Looks worse than it is I've been told. I have 3 T40's, so this one has to go. Also has a Cisco 802b wifi card. There is also a chip on the back panel above the ac input opening.

I would give this a 7 rating. Keyboard is good. Battery lasts 1 hour plus. Comes with ac adapter.Have XP installed........

I've had a few lookers and questions on this laptop. Some forum members from overseas have expressed interest on this, but I'd rather stay within the states. Thanks for the inquiries.

If I could afford it, it would be mine.

The scratches are kinda a bummer, but a otherwise very nice T40 for that price is quite a steal in my opnion. Good luck with the sale.

Machine looks very nice apart from those scratches. It looks as if someone made them intentionally, kids perhaps?
