I hate to do it, but I honestly don't have a need for it as I now have a T60p. This was a replacement for my lost T40 that Lenovo sent me. It is brand new, in the sealed box directly from Lenovo. Here are the specs:

T60 1951-44U
T2400(1.83GHz) Core Duo Processor
512MB RAM (upgraded to 1GB total)
60GB 5400rpm HD
14.1in 1024x768 LCD
Intel 950 Integrated graphics
CDRW/DVD Drive
Intel 802.11abg wireless
Modem
1Gb Ethernet
UltraNav
Secure chip
Fingerprint reader
6c Li-Ion battery
Windows XP Professional

Since this is a replacement, the warranty only carries over from the remainder of what was left on the T40, plus an extension. The warranty runs to 7/07 but you can call Lenovo and extend it out as long as you wish.

The $800 cost includes UPS Ground shipping in the U.S.-sorry, no sales outside the U.S. or to Canada. I can take Paypal or money order/cashier's check. No pictures-unless you want one of just shipping box!

I don't know much about the T60, but isn't this price insanely good? Considering I recently sold a T43 for $900...

Yes, it IS insanely good-heck, I thought it was a darn good price at $900 shipped, but there was no interest. The only drawback people might see is the warranty until 7/07, but a quick call to Lenovo and some $$$ will extend that out. At this price you will still come out ahead. There are refurbished models just like this on ebay selling for $1300-1400, and this one is brand new in the unopened box.

Not that this helps your cause, but if I didn't have a baby coming this would be sold.

I would have bought it but I don't want the 1024x768 screen. Sorry.

Not a problem-I can understand that myself. Since I have been using my widescreen T60p at 1680x1050, XGA looks huge now-very useable, but huge!

It definately is a good and insane deal it will sell, just be a little patient. Better to wait here a little than move to ebay or something.

Greetings!

I'm a full-time student as well as a full-time pastor here in God's most perfect of places: the Yakima Valley!

I am in the market for a desktop replacement machine. My 770z has recently left me to serve my son in Minnesota (what a great machine!) and an A30m went back to the leasing company.

I am interested in this machine but I am ignorant of how it compares to the off-lease Dell Precision M60's I'm looking at. These are going for somewhere in the $650.00 range and carry a warranty up until 12/2007.

I ask of you, wise ones all, would this outstandingly attractive Thinkpad serve me better as a desktop replacement or would the Dell? (Provided the Dell doesn't burn through the desk if a battery overheats--ugh!).

Joyfully About Business,

Daniel
