I'm in search of R40 Recovery CDs. If anyone is willing to sell or make copies for sale, I would greatly appreciate it.

What model? I have a set that covers models: 2681, 2682 2683.

That set should cover models 2722 and 2723 as well - it sounds like you have the same set I do and I have used it without any trouble. I suspect that any R40 can be set up with those CDs.
