WTB: A31P, WI-FI, PREFERABLY BAREBONE

#1 Post by ajkula66 » Wed Mar 21, 2007 6:08 pm

OK, since my trustworthy A31P is history now, I'm looking to replace it. Machine must be wireless enabled, and in basic working condition.

I'd prefer a barebone machine, but will take a complete one if the price is right.

For anyone interested in trades, I've got a X31 (2672-J7U) and a pretty rare A22M with integrated wireless (2628-VSU).

Any questions feel free to PM me.[/b]

Would you consider an A30P (15" UXGA+IPS, WiFi, Bluetooth) or do you have your heart set on an A31P?

Captain, are you thinking of selling your A30p?

Yep, definitely thinking about it. It's been sitting unused on a shelf as a backup to a backup for two years or more since i got my first A31P.

This is the unit I wrote about a long time ago when I installed the internal WiFi and Bluetooth, which ultimately gave me the courage to crack open my first A31P to do the same.

A30P versus A31P

#5 Post by ajkula66 » Wed Mar 21, 2007 11:18 pm

Honestly, it would have to be A31P. I've been through about 55 of these babies and I'm already starting to feel withdrawal symptoms now that my beloved one is about to be packed for Europe...

Just sold an A30P (2653-65U) as well, had a bad video card, but was nice. Also to Europe.

I'll have to think about it George, giving up one of my A31Ps would be like giving up one of my children.

Actually, if you had gotten to me before I paid for college and the weddings, you probably could have gotten a good deal on one of them.
