As the thread title suggests, I have IBM 256mb memory that fits most IBM T, A, X, i series. In perfect shape and ships in it's original memory box and anti-static packaging :) Send me a PM if interested.

This is PC133 memory (133mhz) from an A30p. Thanks for correcting me on that - I mistyped the model. Like he posted below, it works on several A and T and X series and I believe there are i series that it works on. If your computer takes PC133 memory and has the correct number of pins it will work :)

If it's truly PC133 memory, there are only a very small number of Thinkpads that this memory will work in.

A30 and A30p.

T23.

X22, X23, X24 and X30.

I'm not aware of any i series machine that groks PC133 memory.

Nor could this memory have come out of an A31p which uses PC2100/2700 200pin memory, not PC133 144 pin.

James

As sdram is backwards compatable, it will work in many of the lesser machines. Any of the pc100 or even pc66 machines will take pc133. One Caveat: As long as the chips are not Highdensity. I have pc133 in a A20m and an A21m.

I have a desk drawer full of PC133 RAM that won't work in Thinkpads!

PC133 memory might be compatible with an older T, A or X system, but only if it's lo-density.

No Thinkpad with onboard PC100 memory will play nicely with PC133 memory. (E.g., 600X, 570E, etc.)

No Thinkpad with onboard PC66 memory (570, 600, 600E) will even BOOT with PC133 memory installed.

James
