Wow, these are very good deals. Ray, you must buy both and resell them for $180 each.
Too bad I live in a very small city (Providence RI). We rarely have good deals like these on our Craigslist.

I sent an email interested in the X31 but he is selling locally. He would prefer not to ship but said he would keep me in mind if nothing works out. Yeah right....

Hate to disappoint my "fans", but I've been getting picky about the T systems I'm looking at. Unless they have an SXGA+ LCD and/or built-in wireless, they don't rate a blip on my radar screen.
The X31 does look interesting...

How fortunate for the rest of us.
As a side note, craigslist is quite nice for the occassional deals. I got my T23 from there for $75.

$75? Anything wrong with it? Lacking anything?

I bought it as "non working." It had the loose inductor issue and was missing the AC Adapter, HDD caddy & cover. Everything else was there. 1.13ghz P3, 512MB, 30GB HDD, XGA, 8x DVD. So, resoldered the inductors, replaced the missing parts, added internal wireless, Atheros Super G baby & found the actual IBM antennas, LCD cover/bezel on eBay for $11. Picked up a new battery and just switched over to a 60GB 5400RPM Toshiba drive. So, after adding eveything up, including selling my other laptop to pay for the T23, I think I'm around $180 out of pocket for my T23. Killer deal to say the lease.
