I picked up a working IBM model M (P/N: 1391401) - the real deal made by IBM witha grey logo on it - from one of the labs here. Keyboard is in great working condition, and with a little washing will look new.
I will take resaonable offers - keep in mind that this weighs quite a bit and shipping is going to cost you a bit.
edit: added small pic

If anyone wants pics, I can post it here, but it is just a model M.
What great keyboards these are-I am using one right now, and I have been using it for 11 years now-and it is older than that (April 4, 1991)! I have been thru many desktops over the years, but one thing stays the same-my IBM Model M keyboard.
They definitely don't make them like they used to! What do these things go for these days?

What would be a real find would be the clicky model M with the Trackpoint. My friend found one of these rare models (made by IBM) in black at a thrift store for $5. This one was a rare find, and you are not likely to find many more since these were made before the Lexmark takeover.

I sort of want one of these keyboards as a spare, but I already have 2 backups. If it wasn't for that, you would of had a PM a while ago.

Are thay worth that much??
I have been useing one , a black one with the track point now for years. There is a used computer store up the road from me that had a box of them(about 40 of them). Also 17" IBM black crt monitors.Looks like he got them from an office that upgraded.
He gave one of the keyboards to me when i was there looking once.I know the guy.
This was two years ago.I guess i'll have to stop back in and see if he still has them there.
They were all the black ones with the trackpoint.

I think it is mainly because you can find these at a local thrift store for $5. I know Aphakilo470 has several Model M's laying around. They are nice keyboards

I would also give 30 plus shipping, any time, for one in good condition. I would give 50 for the one that has a trackpoint on it,a black one, plus shipping. I just love those keyboards.

One can never have too many spare clicky keyboards
How about a trade? Since I love hitting the enter key I accidentally ordered two of these so I have a extra:
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.780
Simply will not use two.
Gave away the Rapid Restore CD to a friend and let him use the enclosure for one day to upgrade his system. Otherwise its brand new and includes the carry case & cables as advertised. You pay for shipping to me and I will to you. Let me know if your interested.
I would want to see pictures of its condition first.

Thanks for the offer, Dave. Unfortunately I have one of those enclosures already

It would be a sweet trade if I did not have one enclosure ...

I sold one of these things on ebay a year ago for something like $65.
