I have...
ThinkPad A31 "2652-J3U"...
Intel P-4 M 1.6Ghz
14.1" XGA (1024x768)Small dark spot in bottom corner, not realy bad.
56K and 10/100 cards inside.
24X cd-rom (missing front bezel but works great)
has a mini docking station
bat will hold charge for about 30min's give or take 10mins.
256 meg DDR333 ram(1 x 256)
**No hard drive , no caddy or cover , and no power adapter**
The system has been running for about two weeks i had it.Than started to play video's and seen lines / dot's ect just in the video.
I ran the PC Doc 2.0 video test and failed .Witch leads me to belive the ATI chip or the video ram is going bad.
BUT the system is up and running now and if not playing a video it looks good.Cant tell theres anything wrong.
I dont realy know what it's worth. But theres still lots of good parts.
Or the system may run like it is for a nice while yet.I never fooled around with laptops befor so i just dont know.
I will also trade it for a small(in Mhz) working laptop.Sonthinkg in the 500Mhz range.With a P-III and a 13.3" or 14.1" lcd or 1024x768 rez.
OR trade for a bare bones(no ram,cd-rom) higher Mhz laptop(say P-III 900ish)
Oh ya should say i'm in Canada so shipping is from here.
Also if trading for another laptop i guess if we each pay for the shipping (on their end) it would work out fair.
