Your local Radio Shack should have these cables in stock.

it doesn't have to be a specific cord?

It just needs to have the right number of pins and the right shape. My T60's 90W adapter has two pins, so this "figure 8" one would work.

It's a generic figure of 8 plug. Get it from ebay for a coupla dollars.

That cord is polarized so it will not work, you need a non polarized figure eight. If you look closely at the right side female plug part the top is squared off to facilitate plugging in to a specific adapter.
My 90watt is non polarized.

Mike, thanks for being so much more careful than I! I usually do try to double check things before submitting a post, but didn't do that very well at 4:12 am when I posted that message!

That was hard to see in that picture, I just happend to read the part about it being polarized and saw it did have that squared off part. I'm sure they must have those non polarized as well though. :)

a sharp knife will change a polarized cord into a non-polarized cord..
i.e. cut of the corners.. 8)

If you zoom in on the ac plug part you'll see that the left prong on the wall plug in is bigger too, so, with a grinder or file and a sharp knife you could make yourself a cord.

Somewhere at the house I have the one that shipped with my 90W adapter, I replaced that one with a longer higher quality one. I would let this one go for the cost of shipping if you have not already found one.
