I THINK? that the x31 thinkpads support pc3200 memory? if so otherwise then i am interested in pc2700 ddr memory

Not that I know of, and I've had a couple. It's either PC2100 or 2700-I've used both, haven't tested any with 3200 but I don't think so.

Brent Presley had some great deals on PC2700 chips, check this forum...

X31 takes only PC2100 or PC2700 ...
