FS: IBM Thinkpad x31 *no longer for sale*

#1 Post by dawhim » Thu Apr 12, 2007 9:14 pm

I have upgraded from my x31 to a new x60, so this one has to go.

The type is 2885-PWU

Pentium M 1.6ghz
1GB ram (2x 512mb)
60gb hdd @ 5400rpm
ATI Mobility RADEON
wifi 802.11b

Keyboard is new. The battery still good for about 2hrs. the warranty is ending on the 5th next month.

accessories:
2 ac adapters
a port replicator (I can throw in one more replicator upon requested, FRU 08N1536 like this one http://www.bobjohnson.com/_store/Displa ... ID=08N1536 )
a usb bluetooth adapter
the recovery disc set for x31.

the hdd has been wipe out clean with a fresh winxp pro installed. there is a license come with the laptop.
The condition is great. I use it with a replicator + external monitor + external keyboard and mouse most of the time.

I totally forgot to mention there is a bit of blemish in the back of the laptop, a bit of plastic got chipped.

other than this, it is fine. no dead or stuck pixel on the screen either.

Going by location listed on his heatware, it is.

Is that drive 4200 or 5400 rpm?

The 2885-PWU is supposd to have 256MB RAM and 40GB 4200rpm HDD, so both the RAM and the HDD have been upgraded. Would you tell us if you have 1x1GB, and what's the speed of the 60GB HDD?

Also, has it got wireless (and if so, what kind)?

And is it 10/100 Ethernet, or 10/100/1000

Could you also upload some pics too please?
