FS: IBM/Lenovo Thankpad X60 *perfect condition*

#1 Post by dawhim » Tue Apr 17, 2007 9:45 pm

I was gonna sell my x31 and replaced it with this x60. after 3 weeks with the x60, I just don't like it as much as my x31.

The main reason I looked for an upgrade was that my x31 couldn't handle HD video stuffs(h264 or hd rips). it turned out that I was using the wrong codec. I can watch HD just fine on my x31 now.

here is the spec:

quote:
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T5600 (1.83GHz, 2MB L2, 667MHz FSB) 12.1" XGA TFT with Bluetooth
Genuine Windows XP Home Edition
512 MB PC2-5300 SDRAM DDR2 667MHz SODIMM Memory (1 DIMM)
Integrated fingerprint reader
80GB Hard Disk Drive, 5400rpm Serial ATA (2.5")
Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG (US/CAN/LA/AP)
ThinkPad X60 Series 8 cell High Capacity Battery
1 Year Limited Warranty (expiration date on 5/10/2008)

some pic here

I am selling it for $1100 + shipping obo
paypal non-cc payment or 3% for cc-payment
heatware

you can also add $50 for a module of PQI 1GB DDR2 PC-5400 ram.

Why? Because the X60 generates too much heat? The screen isn't as good?

Why don't you contact IBM and try to return it?

oh...it is cheaper for me to sell it than return it. ibm charges 15% open box fee for return..

should I try to get them waive it?
