sold to my friend for 1100 as is, thanks guys for offering, and sorry
to all those that made offers, I'll still be looking for an X40, X41 or X60.

Thanks

Updated price, last time, available for another 3 days (until saturday June 2nd)======> $1000

Hi, I bought this laptop in the beginning of February, as I was looking for a laptop I could use for college. It was either this laptop, or an X60, or possible an X60T, plus cash. I went with this one due to the amount of performance it offered. Here are the Specs:

Core 2 Duo T7200 2.00 Ghz
14.1 inch, SXGA+ screen (1450x1050)
2 gigs of Ram (upgraded from original 256)
40 gig hard drive
Ati X1400 video card
9 Cell battery
Windows XP Home
Fingerprint reader
Atheros A/B/G wireless
CD-RW, DVD ROM (CD burner, DVD reader)
Bluetooth
Has the one year warranty, ends at the end of January of next year (when I ordered it)--if you think it's important, you can add it.

Unfortunately, I found myself leaving it at home more often than taking it with me due to the weight (about 5 pounds) so I figured that I should sacrifice the power and get a smaller laptop, possibly a tablet.

New price: $1000

I am asking $1000 now, although a trade is ideal in my situation, as I would like an X60, or an X41T or X60T, so that I can start using it immediately. I would also take an X40 or X41. I also have a Logitech MX 1000 I would give the buyer, as I bought it for use with the laptop, and would not use it with an X series, as I won't be able to game on it. If you think 1000 is too much, make me an offer. Thanks.

What about the warranty, when it ends?

I have the standard one year warranty, ordered it at the end of January, so it will be good until next year January. It is always extendable though.

Too bad it only has one year, my X60 has three years ends 11/29/2009.

You two guys have very uneven systems for a trade.

The memory, the processor, the warranty, the HDD, differences are promply evident.

well, his system is better, so I would pay such differences, if need be. Also, I could install an 80 gig 7200 RPM seagate drive, at the request of a buyer, and reinstall the partition on the new hard drive. I was going to do it anyway, but I was going to save it for the X60 I wanted to get.

price lowered to 1100, firm on the price. Look at the specs and pictures. If you think the price is unreasonable, make me an offer, I'm willing to take a reasonable offer.

Tell me what you need to make this happen.

Alright, 1000 is the least I'll give it for, if not, I'll give it to a friend for 500.
