I would've got one but the specs aren't all the impressive anymore. Otherwise sweet deal and 3 year warranty.

It's got a 3 year warranty, and 8 cell battery, plus it's the ultralight model. Cool.

I believe you'll find that -37U is not the UL version. According to the most recent tabook file that's the case. The UL screen is only offered in 3 std. configurations and the -37U is not one of them.
Cheers from someone who repaired IBM computers w/60,000 vacumn tubes in the early 60's and still hasn't found a better keyboard than IBM's!

I thought the -s is the UL designation, no?

Nope. There're two types of X60s, one UL and the other not.

The X60s machines all use a lower voltage L series proc. The only standard configs in Tabbook offering the UL screen are 1702-94U (which I have) and the -7CU and -L6U. All UL's are X60s but not all X60s are UL equipped, confusing enough? I was shocked at that really reasonable price for a UL as I had to pay more than that with employee discount. I was hoping they weren't blowing them out already! I bought the UL primarily because the screen is the brightest available. I had a Flex-View 15" T42 that was tough to use in the car for instance. The UL is enough brighter to make it more usable in higher ambient light conditions I believe. YMMV

so, is that UL for ultra light, or something else.

shouldn't these all be the same weight. Nice price, I bougth an x41 about four months ago for 900$ here, nice to see this now coming down.

Would the docks and other items fit the X60s?

UL = Ultralight. The UL screen makes the laptop 0.2 lbs lighter.
