I was going to say dibs on the 100GB 7200rpm until I realised it said SATA... :( These should fly out the door, I'd assume.

Hi Toine and KristianJ,

Sorry guys, as these are SATA drives, these will not be compatible with any ThinkPad that does not have a "6" on them. (only works on T6x R6x Z6x X6x for now).

If I am not mistaken, isn't there a UltraBay style caddy that will hold a SATA drive for the T4x/R5x/X4x series? If so, you can use these drives as secondary hard drives.....though PATA might be sheaper....hmm..though these drives are about the same price as the PATA equivilents.

Oh yes you are correct, thanks!
Yes these can be used on T4x/R5x/X4x as well, on the UltraBay.

would these work on an X31? Are they new?

No, these won't work on your X31 either. At least internally on the main bay or the secondary bay. No they are not new, but they have been fully tested as mentioned above.
