just bought 25 600x speedstep motherboards .. not too sure why -- I think the consumption of Italian red wine and Belgium lager (stella) may have affected my judgement ... lol ... if any members UK/Europe - are interested PM me - once I have tested them I will let a few go at a good price - number depending on how many are good (I want at least 1 for myself). Sorry if this is the wrong forum to do this - still p1$$hed. .. hic ...

I might be interested in, shipping being to Spain and/or Canada.

To verify, Pentium III's at what MHZ?

These can be dropped into any existing 600x? Equally 600e or 600?

Thanx,

Not sure if they will be with or without proc's - picking them up Friday. Boards may or may not be in base plastics and plastics may or may not be good ...bare boards will fit in 600x plastics only as the boards differ from 600/600E boards (600x has mini pci slot). They supports procs up to 850Mhz, the fastest MMC2 CPU intel made.

Hello bobgarty,

I would be interested in one of your speedstep mainboards. Could you ship them to Germany and if yes how much was the cost of shipping?

If you have a compatible MMC-2 processor with 850 Mhz, I'd be interested in that as well.

I will send you a PM with my contact.

Best wishes,
Jan.

PS: I signed up especially because of this offer. Nevertheless I have to say that this is an outstanding forum. I habe read articles and threads in this forum a lot of times before and they always helped me.

Picked up and have been going thru them - there is around 30 Speedstep MB's ... BUT .... 20 have rear port damage ... some of these do boot, but the docking port on all of them is damaged beyond repair, and some also have damage to serial/lpt/vga.
A number have supervisor passwords.
This leaves me with quite a small number of good boards, which I will be selling on Ebay to get my initial investment back.
All a little dissapointing, but there u go.

If anyone wants to take a chance on the damaged boards I will sell the ones that boot, with no guarentee of course, £5 + shipping. I do not take paypal credit card payments, only balance transfers

I also have lots of port cover sets/MiniPCI covers/Mini-PCI Modems/TV Out Cards/PCMCIA cages/Sub Cards/Video Cables/Inverters/Lid Plastics/Hinges/Rubber feet and some 500/650Mhz CPU/Fan combo's - PM me if u r interested in anything

EDIT - Corrected format errors
