I've decided to sell my ThinkPad i1400 (type 2621-420). It has a 433mhz Celeron processor, a 13.0" HPA screen, a 5GB 4200RPM HDD, CD-ROM, FDD, and no RAM at the moment. The laptop is in very good condition. Everything works fine except that the TrackPoint has a broken ribbon cable. I will include a good battery (lasts 1.5hrs), a not-so-good battery (5mins>), and a 65W AC adapter. This laptop can actually play audio CDs without powering on, it has controls and a little display at the very front.

The laptop has some very tiny and scattered white specks on it. I'm guessing these are from paint splatter being being flung from a roller. Again, these specks are very very tiny and don't stand out too much. Other than the these spots, this laptop is spotless. :D

Asking for $40 shipped.

I'm not really sure if that's what this is worth, but feel free to make an offer on it. Shipping would probably be about $10 parcel post.

After letting this sit undisturbed for the past three weeks, I took another look at it. I tried powering on, but nothing happens. I'm not sure why, but I haven't messed with it. And I ended up using the 5GB drive for another machine, so this is up for sale as-is and without RAM or HDD.

Feel free to send an offer. I'm open to trade ideas, too.

Not to state the obvious, but did you put ram in it, before booting it?

I might be interested, if you can atleast let me know what ballpark you are in for a price...

Yeah, I tried it with one 128MB PC100 stick in it. I didn't get any lights, fan, or anything when I tried to turn it on.

Honestly, I don't really know what it's worth. But it has a good battery. How about $40 shipped?

I forgot to mention that this has a MiniPCI slot (taken up by a modem), in case that matters to you.
