FS: IBM Thinkpad T42, 1+ year IBM warranty *PICS*

For sale is an IBM THINKPAD T42 laptop computer.
I have babied this computer since it was bought brand new, there is still IBM warranty left on it until JUNE 16TH 2008 [Its a genuine full IBM warranty, covers everything from parts and labor].
Specs:
Model# 2373VKP
1.7GHZ Pentium Centrino
512MB RAM
35 GB Hard Drive
CD-RW/DVD
Magnesium casing
Built in WiFi and Bluetooth
It has Windows XP Professional installed.
In addition, I have Microsoft Office XP and Adobe Photoshop CS installed on it, that I can leave installed. But, since I don't have the installation disks, I was thinking of removing them before selling - its your call!
Laptop is in excellent condition.
I am located in Chicago, IL.

You may just have to keep this beauty, like I'll have to keep mine (see few posts below)...
For some reason, no one's bucking up for T42s...what has this world come to? Have Dual Core machines really killed everything else???
Nice unit, but unfortunately, I'm not a buyer-already have a T42 too many...

still selling..............................and i really want this thing gone, keeping isn't an option since i have already bought a macbook.
thinkpad is still up for grabs, and its $600 with ups ground to anywhere in the usa.

you're gonna have a hard time selling it for that price...
my T43 with better specs for everything brand new condition + warranty lots ppl offered 600$ and didn't even wanted to buy at that price at the end (i sold it elsewhere).
people in thinkpad forums are the best knowledged people knowing the thinkpad value but it's also the place that you won't get the most reselling value of your thinkpad

$575-$600 is not too bad for a T42 with these specs ... this laptop is in AWESOME condition, and I'd have bought it if I had so much $$s.
Zaku, I was drooling all over for your machine, it was really good. It was one of the nicest looking T43s I have seen here on the forums ... it was just bad time that it did not sell soon here.
I prefer selling here on the forums than ebay, but sometimes prices that are offered are too low.
