WTB: cd-rom connector board

I'm looking for this part

It's for a Toshiba satellite pro 4300 series.
It connect's the cd/dvd-rom to the mother board of the laptop.
Anyone have one around?

Sorry to take so long to check, that thing's a pain to take apart!
It looks like the CD-ROM plugs directly into the motherboard, so I don't have the part you're looking for. I hope you come across one, though.

I belive the part i'm looking for screws on the back of a cd-rom first.
A buddy of mine bought a Toshiba laptop that had no cd-rom,ram,ect.
I have a cd-rom here for him but dont have the connector board.
I might have- let me look

Hey,
That connector looks very similar to the one that came in my Toshiba 6100. Let me take a look in storage and see if it's the right one. I can tell you tomorrow night. What is your price range for it?

I'm not realy sure what my buddy wants to spend on one.He got the whole barebones thing for $40.00.
Oh ya it's for a 4300 series......
If you find the little part let me know and i'll talk to my buddy and see what he wants to spend...

Whats wrong with the 6100? Would you be looking to sell the whole thing?

The 6100 was gone a long time ago. That whole motherboard issue.,.I had fixed it myself but I needed something more reliable and lo and behold I'm still lookng!

Sadly, it's not the right one.
The one I have is for the the 6000, 6100, and possibly TE2000 and TE2100. And I have two funny enough and the caddy for one.
