FS: HP OmniBook 4150
EDIT: Item is on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0128890655
I'm looking to sell an old Hewlett Packard OmniBook 4150. Specs include:
20gb hard drive
128mb RAM
366mhz Pentium II CPU
14" XGA TFT LCD
Working battery (3.9ah current capacity; originally 5.1ah)
2.5mb NeoMagic 256AV video chipset
24x CD ROM Drive
There is no AC adapter and one of the internal supports is cracked so the laptop doesn't have full stability on the bottom chassis in the corner above the keyboard under the right hinge. I've been able to "fix" it with some JB Weld but I can't guarantee how long or how well that stuff will hold.
The laptop powers up, charges and runs fine using a 72w ThinkPad AC adapter.
I'm looking for $75 shipped with hard drive or $55 shipped without.

Seems as it they simply copied the thinkpad keyboard layout! The laptop looks to be in great condition for its age.

Yeah, the layout is similar. The only major difference is the placement of the FN key which can be annoying if you use the Ctrl key alot. The keyboad, in my opinion, is more comfortable to type on than a ThinkPad 600 (which is probably the highest regarded ThinkPad in terms of keyboard). The laptop itself is about 7 years old.
