I have this stick of ram here for a while now.But i dont have a laptop that used it.

I dont know what size it is.
All i know is that it's 144pin.No stickers on it at all.
I tryed it in my 390X system and it came up that it is EDO ram and system can not start error. This is understandable the 390X used pc-100 ram.
So i just know it boots to this error saying it's EDO.
There is 4 chips per side (8 total) on it.
Here is a pic of what is on each chip....
Anyone want it.
Pay Pal me $5.00 and i'll put it in a envelope with your name on it and mail it out.
It could be a 16meg or could be a 64meg EDO.I dont know.

The pic dident come out so here is a link to it..

I initially locked this thread but then thought twice about it. I'll leave it open until I find out what the mystery module really is and report back.

Module is identified as a 32MB by a 365XD I currently have on hand. When booted, system memory reports as 40576KB (8MB on board and 32MB SODIMM) but memtest86+ lists errors right away. It appears that a single device is the cause of the errors so it's possible that if I can isolate which part is bad, and I'm lucky enough to dig up a 2M x 16 EDO part somewhere around work, this could be fixable. Problem is I don't think we have any more testers capable of looking at EDO parts so I'd be blindly putting on parts that may or may not be good :? .
