[ EDIT 5/18/07: Added extra RAM for the same price. ]

[ EDIT 5/21/07: Lowered price. Brand new Booq sleeve included too at the asking price]. Some pictures of the shell & keyboard added. 'Sorry for the quality but it's the best my camera can do with a stark black object.

OK, let's try this again!

I offered this X41 Tablet for sale a couple of weeks ago to the highest offer or until my asking price was met. Well, a couple of days before my deadline my asking price was offered and my post was locked. After a lot of wasted time my "buyer" backed out before sending the funds, so I'm forced to re-list this Tablet for sale once again.

So here it is...

One of my personal X41 Tablets.

Model 1869CSU ( the best X41T Lenovo ever put out)
1.6GHz LV Pentium M
1.0 GB RAM (512MB on board + additional 512MB included free)
60GB HDD
Intel a/b/g Wireless
Bluetooth
Fingerprint Reader
Beautiful 12.1" FLEXVIEW Screen
...plus all the usual Tablet features

Genuine IBM EasyServ Warranty Until June 2009

Will come with TWO 4-cell batteries (both in very good condition) because I never liked the size of the Tablet with an 8-cell battery so I traded it for the 4-cells. Of course an A/C adapter is included too. And if you really need an 8-cell battery I can get you one for an additional charge.

[ I can also supply an IBM USB CD-ROM or CDRW for an additional charge. I find these small portable drives indispensible for installing software and I always travel with one. ]

Condition is excellent. My cheap digital camera can't capture the true beauty of this laptop so I won't try and will sell by reputation alone. If it isn't what I claim then I don't want you owning it. Send it back. I would CONSERVATIVELY rate it as an 8.5 - 9 out of 10 on the "Yak Scale" (I'm freakin' picky). Before you ask... No, there is nothing wrong with it. It's a used laptop, and though it's probably the nicest used X41 Tablet out there it is used so I can't rate it a 10 (though a lot of others would rate it MUCH higher than I did!). The screen is wonderful (no scratches or pixel problems) and it was NEVER USED AS A TABLET other than a quick test when I first set it up. I'm selling it because I have no use for a Tablet computer that I'm not using as a Tablet right now.

Price is $849 for the base Tablet, A/C Adapter, and (2) 4-Cell Batteries, which includes fully insured shipping within the mainland US (shipping to all other areas will be at my actual cost), AND I'll include a brand new Booq sleeve at this price. PayPal accepted from US buyers only (in addition to a bank wire, cashier's check from a major US bank, or postal money order). All others must use a bank wire. No exceptions. In any case the system will not be considered sold until funds are cleared, and the buyer must make a reasonable effort to initiate the full payment within 2 business days of your accepted offer or I reserve the right to accept another offer.

If you don't feel my asking price is reasonable feel free to make me an offer you think is fair compared to what else is available in the marketplace.

Please ask if you have any questions.

OFFERS OR QUESTIONS ACCEPTED VIA E-MAIL ONLY. DO NOT PM ME HERE. THANK YOU!

Bump. Available here for 2-3 more days, then I'll put it on eBay when I return.

In addition to the extra RAM added earlier I reduced the price and added some pics so that you can see the keyboard and shell show little signs of use. I'm also including a brand new Booq sleeve in the price too. 'Sorry for the quality of the pics but that was the best my camera could do with a stark black object.

I lowered the price to hopefully get a buyer before my travel in the next few days. Though I have received offers, non have been as high as those I received on this same laptop just 2 weeks ago prior to my buyer backing out last week. In fact, I'm puzzled that the offers have been less than the mentioned BIN price of an ebay model some here were claiming was such a fantastic deal. :?: Mine is in similar condition (though I don't smear my screen as it isn't touched without a microfiber cloth, and as I said this one hasn't been used as a Tablet... but I'll smear mine too if you want). Mine also has a faster processor, a 60GB hard drive where the other has NONE (minimum $100+ more AND no time spent loading the factory image), a better wireless card, Bluetooth, almost SIX months more warranty, and comes with TWO very good 4-cell batteries (an X41 Tablet with an 8-cell is almost as big as and weighs about as much as a T-series and loses it's portability advantage). Mine also now comes with a brand new Booq sleeve. I would also hope buying from me would be worth a $1 or so more than an unknown ebay seller (plus you KNOW who actually bought, owned & used it)? Perhaps I'm missing something and I apologise to those who made the offers if I have, but I just can't accept them.

Still available. No serious offers presented. Since I'm still traveling for a few more days I will keep it listed.
