#1 Post by brainpicker » Wed May 16, 2007 6:49 pm

- Brand new in it's sealed box.

- Under warranty through January 2009.

- I use these and they are VERY nice monitors. Besides, they are "Business Black" and thus match our Thinkpads.

- Very High-Quality analog monitor for our "DVI-impaired" Thinkpads!

Here are full details, most of which is more than anyone would want to know (and if you really need to know all of this before buying a monitor... I'm sorry!)

L170 and L170p are the best 17" monitors I have seen. Online reviews won't say much, but IBM monitors are amongst the best out there.

If I had the $$s, this will at my desk now. Yak is a great guy, and a very honest seller. Someone buy this soon!

And in general, 17" LCDs are among the most useful monitors, because they have the same resolution as 19" LCDs but are much smaller, so they save desktop space. I have one at work (paid $220 for it three months ago) on a tiny desk and love it. Of course 15" LCDs are even smaller but they only have 1024x768.

I got a really nice IBM monitor stand from ol' gator today and I'm itchin' to open the seal on this box and mount this monitor on it..... but I'm going to give it a few more days here to see if it can sell. If the buyer wants they can purchase the matching stand too.

Yeah I know that there are a few of these for sale out there at the same price I'm asking (or maybe even a wee bit less), but from what I've seen mine is the only one that's new in a sealed box and with 19 months warranty remaining.
