FS : Ultrabay Enhanced CD ROM 24X

#1 Post by clickpoint » Thu May 17, 2007 9:56 am

Ordered 4 of these, and.... they don't fit my TPs

IBM FRU : 92P6561
Ultrabay Enhanced CDROM 24X

They are brand new, still sealed. I opened one, and looked at back, and realized they were a NO GO!

Doing a little poking around, I guess they only fit :
R50, R50p, R51, R52, R60, Z60m, Z61m, and ?ThinkCenter

Asking $13 shipped each
All four for $45

Will take offers

Thanks

I was under the same impression too....
The connector at the back is off to the side, and NOT in the middle!!! Little did I know :!:

An adapter is available that permits them to be used in older machines - it may not be easy to find one.
