If I may say, the accessories seem to have VERY expensive prices. I recently bought a almost new, working Port Replicator II in pristine cosmetic condtion off ebay for $18 shipped.
You might want to reduce your prices a little.

I might be wrong but IBM/Lenovo website does not list this model as having a FlexView screen...OP, if I'm wrong, please point in the direction I should be looking at.
Adding pictures will increase your chances of selling the unit on this forum by a double margin. If the machine is in a fine shape, that is a good price from where I stand. And, to side with gator the accessories are definitely overpriced in my opinion.
And, if you feel like emailing me the pictures because I am in the market for a T42P, feel free to do so.
All the best.

1. I don't know how many cycles on the battery, but it has been in use for more than a year. It is still servicable (for me, anyway).
2. Prices are negotiable; please e-mail me if you want to offer something else. Right now, I would consider $18 for the Port Replicator much too low as it is like-new condition. I don't deal with E-Bay so can't respond to that price structure. Note that I am paying shipping, so too low a price would make things tough at the price point suggested.
3. It is the FlexView screen. Search for document ENUS104-407 on the IBM web site - it is the announcement letter for this machine. Or, e-mail me and I can forward you a copy.
4. The screen is in good condition, no dead pixels that I am aware of, but then I don't look for those anymore.
5. Case condition is excellent - I had IBM replace it about a year ago and I make sure that no new fingerprints, marks, etc. get added to it. It does look like when it was brand new.

Thanks for the document number, I'll be looking for it sometime later tonight.
On another note, I'd really appreciate if you could post the pictures, or if you prefer, email them to me. I'd be very hesitant to spend anywhere near what you're asking for on something I haven't seen at least in the picture-and please don't take this personally, it's a matter of sheer principle.
BTW, the fact that you don't deal with eBay is your personal choice and must be respected as such, but most people like to see some kind of a feedback that seller has, be it on eBay or heatware, before dishing out a substantial amount of money. And, let's not fool ourselves, as much as most of us have had not-so-pleasant experiences on the bay, we do look for bargains there, and form prices-both buying and selling wise-on that very website.
As previously stated, I am in the market for a T42P, and pictures would be an absolute must for me to say any more than I already have.

I did get lucky on that port replicator II I got from ebay, it was a steal.
$100 is way too high for that item, there is no way anyone is going to respond to that price - thats why I said it might help you to reduce the asking prices a bit. I remember atleast one forum member who sold the same port rep for < $25 two weeks back.
Don't mistake me, I was just trying to help you ...

Sorry I cannot supply online references. I do not sell as a normal business, but only when I have things to get rid of. In this case, I have a T60p coming in (from my brother - his "hand me down") so the T42p and accessories go on the block. The last time was about 2 years ago with a T41p. I don't know if those old postings are still available.
Regarding references, my concern is a satisfied buyer, so when my buyers are happy I consider the transaction concluded.
There are 3 offers out right now, with the first one in the queue being the individual requesting the references. If that does not complete soon, I will defer to the other two in the order they were received.
Thanks for the interest,
Ron Woodson

Why is this still available? This is a very good deal for a super machine under warranty!

The sale of the T42p (purchase side) has completed. The machine is shipping International and it is my sincere hope the transaction will be satisfactory to the buyer.

Congrats to both seller and buyer - with the dollar so low, most international buyers are getting great deals, esp. in the U.K.

This has been an absolute steal, and good luck to everyone involved. No T42P will, in my opinion, be offered for that amount of money with given specs anytime soon...
