[SOLD!] SXGA+ T60 $899 [PIX]

#1 Post by pianowizard » Sat May 26, 2007 8:42 am

Up for sale is a 14.1" SXGA+ T60 with warranty through 05-31-2009. The reason for selling is that I want to replace it with an R50p (see my WTB ad here). Specs:

T2300(1.66GHz), 2GB (2x1GB) RAM, 80GB 5400rpm HD, 14.1in 1400x1050 LCD, 64MB ATI Radeon X1300, CDRW/DVD, Intel 802.11abg wireless, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, Fingerprint reader, 6c Li-Ion batt, WinXP Pro

The laptop is in great condition. There are only two minor issues: a dead pixel near the bottom of the screen that's noticeable only against a dark background, and the keyboard is starting to look shiny (just like most used keyboards).

The Win XP Pro COA is intact, and I have the recovery discs. I've also run Vista RC2 on this T60 and it gets respectable "Experience Scores": 4.6 CPU, 4.7 RAM, 3.6 Aero graphics, 3.6 gaming graphics, and 4.3 hard drive.

The battery holds about 90% of the original full charge.

$899, and at this point I'll sell it locally only and accept cash only. I live in Providence RI but can go to Boston easily. I can ship it after June 11th, but since I'll be in Houston TX between June 12th and 26th, I can sell it there during those two weeks as well.

Please PM me if interested.

I see that you are very serious about the R50p. Good luck with the sale, PW!

A bump for PW and his nice, fully loaded, and fair priced machine.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

I'm not an expert on T6 series, but this looks like a great buy...and, if you fail to sell it locally and end up changing your terms of sale, I'm sure that whoever decides to buy it will not mind an extra $20 spent for you to have it packed professionally at your local UPS store...

Congrats on getting that R50P, by the way. Can't wait to see the pictures with that monster QXGA screen...

All the best.

That's a serious ThinkPad lover, trading a T60 for an R50 just for the experience. Inspiring.

Yep, Jan_Hoho has decided to buy it. But mods, please leave this thread open until the item has been delivered.

Jan_Hoho, you have made a great decision to get this T60 from PW instead of the T4x. I am sure you will enjoy it.
