FS: IBM Thinkpad X41 * Under Warranty* SOLD

#1 Post by coolname1 » Tue Jun 05, 2007 1:09 am

Up for sale is a Thinkpad X41 Type 2525-54U. It is still under IBM warranty till 04/09. The machine is in very good condition with few minor scratches on the top casing. The keyboard shows a lil bit of wears but ofcourse a free replacement could be requested through IBM. The screen is in good shape with no dead pixel or scratches. The only flaw I notice are 2 tiny light spots about the size of a pencil tip. Fortunately, they locate on the edge right hand side of the screen, where the scrolling bar is.

Price lowered from $585 >$555 with free shipping. I prefer MO or non CC paypal.

The first sentence of the original post does say "T41" though, so confusion is understandable. Typo.

My camera was not able to capture the light spots since they are so small. I do not know how did they even get on the in the first place. You won't notice them unless u look at the screen really closely. Also, the original partition has been formatted.

FYI, IBM replaced my X40 LCD under warranty due to white spots - I had several spots. Others had success, too.

Since this unit is under warranty for nearly 2 more years, you should be OK.

More info on the LCD spots...
