Up for sale is a top-of-the-line Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop computer. The most impressive feature of this particular model is its super-high-resolution 15.4” display: At 1920x1200, it is the highest-resolution widescreen display ever made for laptops. Most other models of the Inspiron 6000 only have 1280x800 resolution. I love this laptop so much that I've owned it for eight months, which is extremely rare for me. But after getting two R50p's with QXGA displays, I no longer need this Dell.
Here are the detailed specs of this computer:
15.4” 1920x1200 display
1.6GHz Pentium M processor
1.5GB PC2-4200 RAM
60GB hard drive
CD burner + DVD-ROM combo drive
Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 Certificate of Authenticity sticker
Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 installation DVD
Dell driver CD
Four USB2 ports
Internal wireless card with support for 802.11a, b and g
Ethernet and modem
External monitor, TV-out, IEEE 1394 (i.e. FireWire), microphone and headphone ports
SD card reader
PCMCIA slot
A battery that holds about 1 hour of charge
AC adapter
I will include two bonuses: 1) a Mediterranean Blue QuickSnap Color Kit to protect the lid (see second photo), and 2) An extra, DVD burner drive which has difficulty reading CDs but seems to work fine with DVDs (see third photo).
The overall condition of the machine is very good, although parts of the palm rest have turned a little dark (see first photo). Also, the display lid has a "play" of around 1 inch, which was already the case when I first got the laptop and it hasn't gotten any worse.
