Could you perhaps provide a P/N or a FRU (e.g. 41U3148 or 40Y8725?) or a link? Are we possibly talking about this one: ThinkPad Serial Hard Drive Bay Adapter? For what ThinkPads is the adaptor for sale intended? Thanks in advance for an update! :-)

I believe Lenovo sells these adapters new for $49 shipped.

Is your price only for the adapter or adapter + an HDD?

Every price I've seen for these has been $97+ for the same unit.

I haven't seen one for $49 from Lenovo, nor anywhere else (Euclid doesn't seem to carry them).

It will fit a T60, R60, Z60, Z61 and X60 series, as well as the X6 base and TP Advanced Dock Media Bay.

FRU # is 26R-9246 and Marketing Part # is 40Y8725.

Based on the Marketing number, Thinkpad Parts has them for $70 USD, so I'll drop my price to $60 USD.

Hmm....I found it for $59 on Lenovo's site....but at $44.99, it's cheap enough that I'm just going to keep it.

When I first looked at selling it, the cheapest price I could find (based on FRU) was $97.13.

To be competitive, I'd have to sell it for sub $40, and I may as well just keep it "in case" for that price.
