WTB A31 Motherboard -or- A31 SXGA for parts, also dead A30

#1 Post by JBuzzard » Sat Jul 14, 2007 5:31 pm

Have a A31 w/ 15" SXGA screen that has died on me - won't boot to bios or beeps - just get milky patterns on screen - think it is the motherboard so I'm looking for a replacement that will work with a SXGA display.

-OR-

A31 for parts/repair - has all covers/doors, 1GB RAM (two 512MB DIMMs), no hard drive or opticals (can sell you two CD/RW drives or a 2nd HD adapter if you want) - would like $100.

Also have an A30 with 14" XGA screen that just beeps when started up. Plastics are in good shape, keyboard fairly clean, screen was just fine. Lacks battery but has 512MB RAM. No AC adapter or hard drive. Willing to sell for $50 plus shipping. EDIT - 24xCD no longer included.

EDIT - X30 is SOLD: Also have a dead X30 that just beeps. Has almost new keyboard, very good plastics, all doors, no RAM, not great battery. Includes a X3 base (fair condition) with CD drive but no AC adapter or harddrive. Will to sell for $75 plus shipping.

Do you have the hard drive cover with screw for the A30?

Yes - the A30 includes the drive cover and screw (and all of the other covers as well) - I'd prefer to sell the whole thing than strip it down though.

Any particular reason why you never replied to my PM?

George - no reason other than that I was sick on Sunday and probably saw your message but didn't remember to reply at the time. I'll send a PM.
