Hi everyone,

I would like to buy a ThinkPad T41/p, T42/p, or T43/p. It can have anything (like it can have a 14" or 15" inch screen). It can also be in any condition (working or not working, perfect or not perfect).

I can't spend a lot of money so don't offer me something at a price that is too high for me.

And also, I already had offers fail on me so I hope that no more offers go bad on me. I already had gone through enough (and I'm just not talking about this area. And I can't take it anymore) :( . So please, somebody help me out here. I really want a T4x. :)

You could probably get a T40p or T41p cheaply depending on some factors, but to get a T42p or T43p cheaply, it would mostly be in a non-working condition or barebones configuration.

Are you saying either T41 or T41p etc? Or are you specifically looking for a T41p/T42p/T43p?

What's your budget as well? There are several T4x's on this first page that could be worth your investigating.

Vanessa, I just sold an excellent almost new looking T41 to Stargate199 ... I might be able to get one for you, but what is your budget? Atleast give us a ballpark, like <$350 or something like that ... and do you want a full system, or barebones (like no HDD/RAM)?

PM me with atleast your estimated budget, and I'll get back to you ...

I'm saying a T4x that can be either a non-p or "p" model.

Right now it's $200, but I can go a bit higher than that. It'll probalby be $220 soon. Later on, I'll be able to up to $300.

It can be either a full system or barebones.

Honestly, $200 is too low for a T4x in working condition. The LCD itself costs that much. You mentioned that non-working is okay too, that might be a better bet.

I'd wait until you can get to $300...you've got a more than decent R5x to be able to hold off until you can get the funds together for a reasonably equipped T40, I'd say :)

I should be receiving a 15.0" T42 with a misbehaving motherboard from AlphaKilo pretty soon. If I decide not to keep it, would you be interested in buying it from me?
