Slimlime external cdrw/dvd-rom.
It's a 24x burn , 24x reburn , 24x read and 8x dvd-rom.

Theres a few minor things with it.The externan USB case for it uses two usb cables(one if your just reading cd's two if burning)
One of the cables has the wire striped back.Still works fine but needs to be taped up.
The external case on one end had to be trimed off about one MM to fit the IBM drive.
And the drive itself every now and then when you close it needs to close 2 or 3 times befor it chatches. Not all the time and may not happen again.
EDIT: should say that the closing problem only happened that one day a few times. It never happened since. It closes fine.

.The drive playes dvd's and burnes cd's fine. and fast at 24x.

Price is $25.00 shipped...
Pay Pal is fine

Looks like the network card and 6 gig hard drive is sold.

Still have the external cd-rw/dvd-rom.and the UB2K 24x cd-rom.
I have a thinkpad nylon padded travel pouch/case i'll put with the external burner as well.
It's one that you put ultrabay2000 drives in when not in use.

I'll do both drives i have left for $30.00 usd + shipping.(shipping for both should be no more then 10.00)
So i guess i can make it $40.00usd shipped for the two drives with the case.

I guess i should update this post with some pic's.
Onlt thing left is the external dvd rom / cd-rw .
In the pi's i put a "Thinkpad" logo from a old 600X LCD lid i had here.Just makes it look like a IBM case.
I also added the Thinkpad travel case for it.

Price is $25.00 shipped
Pay Pal is fine.
Note in the pic on the side of the case had to be notched out for the use of a Ultrabay 2000 drive.
Also note the front of the dvd/cd-rw is also notched out to fit in Thinkpads.
Still works fine.
I just did a full test on it.Reads / plays dvds fine with just one USB cable(usb 2.0 for better playback). And i burned a cd with the extra power cable.
