Not the best LCD choice, but at a decent price - with Fingerprint reader, CD burner and 7200RPM drive! This puts a little pressure on the price of used units...
Pick one up!

When you have it in stock again, I'd like to buy one, replace the display with an extra Flexview UXGA that I have, sell it and make some money.

I'll put you on the top of the list. Of course, I don't sell them for $500 when I have them in stock, at that point the price is way higher. I only sell them for that when I don't have them.

They sold out very fast, which make sense.
Maybe they will pop a few back in inventory.
It's nice to see an occasional blow-out like this one.

That would be assuming they actually had any for sale at that price.
Like I said, I also sell them really cheap when I don't have any.
Someone here must have an understanding of what I am saying

I know what you're insinuating, but Newegg actually had it in stock briefly. I saw that deal posted on a deal site when it was still in stock.

Yes, I did see it in stock, too. Sometimes it's better to buy first, and ask questions later!

More like let's kick the competition under the belt and mess up the market altogether to the point of confusion because that's the only way we can rule it....c'mon, people, these are old tricks...and then they'll come back with slightly different/upgraded machine for double the money....meanwhile, we got everyone panicking and selling their T43s for $300 and their T42s for $125 (not me, and not in this life but...)...
Oh, yes, BTW I also don't have T61 in stock but it's $0.99 with free shipping...

Thief?

Are you calling me a thief? You have some nerve!
The point I was making is that it is an old merchants saying - when someone says: "I can get it cheaper at the other store (but they are sold out right now)" the merchant says: " I also sell it cheaper when I don't have any. But if you want to buy one, you have to pay what it actually costs when there is one available for sale".
The POINT being, I can quote any price under the sun when I am not going to sell it to you anyway since I don't have any for sale. Like the cheat shops in NYC run adds selling stuff dirt cheap, and then they do the the old "bait and switch" routine - they offer great prices on things they don't have for sale to get you into the store and try to sell you something for twice the real price.
I can not believe you guys are that unsophisticated.

I agree. scosgt1 is 100% honorable, a great seller, and a true gentleman.

I've been around here long enough to know that you're not. I apologise for any offence caused - it was in hindsight a poor attempt at humour and I've edited my post.

No problem.
Harry, how is that new T60? I have sold a bunch, but I have never seen one. I think my last three may be spoken for. too bad, it looks like a super machine.

Thanks - it's not my intention to get offside with anyone at all around here, especially those who prove themselves to be reliable and trustworthy as yourself
Anyway, back to the topic...I'm most surprised that the one reviewer on that page had no cons with it, yet didn't give 5 stars

Very nice, but you have to like wide screens

. I had a couple of wide screen Macs so I actually prefer them. Overall it's fast and stable.

But only a 1-yr warranty, and it costs a bundle to increase the manufacturers warranty to 3-years on that model afterwards. So I think there's better deals to be found stateside than this one, also as few ppl want that res in 15"
NO!

No, it is a three year warranty. Where do you get your information from?

For what it's worth, I thought it was a rather clever joke!
And also the "thief" comment as well:)
By the way, I have T60s on sale for $25,000 each, but they're not in stock right now, so you can't' buy one
