WTB: AC Adapter for Thinkpad 600E

#1 Post by bosco » Thu Jul 19, 2007 9:30 pm

I got screwed by eBay seller COLORDRIVES. I paid for an adapter for a Thinkpad 600 and received an adapter for a Z60. Of course I had to pay for shipping to send it back. Instead of resending the correct adapter he refunded my original payment but not my shipping cost to send it back due to his error. Now I have no adapter and an additional loss due to his mistake. And yet, he still has several listings on eBay for a 600 series adapter. I'm getting tired of some of these eBay sellers with their inflated shipping costs and their questionable business practices.

Anyway, does anyone have a working AC adapter for a Thinkpad 600E they would be willing to part with? I'm willing to pay about $10. Please PM me if you have one.

Thanks!

Wow, sounds like maybe you should have kept it, and resold it.

I didn't think of that until after I put it in the mail. I looked it up to see what they were going for and I probably could've gotten more for it than I paid. Oh well, live and learn.

You should not have paid shipping to fix their error. Thanks for the tip on a seller who won't fix their own mistake.

After a couple nagging emails they've agreed to reimburse my shipping cost so all is good now.

I have dealt with colordrives before.
first got defective mouse, had to pay shipping back, they sent another, wrong one, complained and the let me keep it and sent another.so i got one half price.

Bought a laptop hard drive, they forgot to ship, made it up by sending a faster one twice the size..good deal.

have to complain to them but they seam to get it done.
