Are they saying that they are all DEAD?!?!?! Then this obviously is no deal....
You are probably right. But its amazing how many people write off computers as dead or "for parts" without really checking them. Now I can't imagine anyone would want to go through 361 laptops to test them all.

I bought 3 600's on E-bay for $40 and all they needed were a few $2 CMOS batteries. They are all now running with fresh installs of 98. And the 600X I bought this week was sold for parts "as-is" and is now running flawlwssly with XP and 586MB of RAM. All it needed was a CMOS battery and a spacebar, which I borrowed from a true parts machine I had.

Bottom line is, if someone has the time & inclination, then they could make a lot of money off that lot. Maybe someone who is retired or something??? Even the ones that can't be resurected can be parted out for the screens, MB's, drives, keyborads, etc. When I was looking for a keyboard for my new 600X, I found people selling individual keys for $1 a piece. Now that would take a long time to sell all those keys, but my point is, there is a lot of value in a dead laptop. And then there are all the AC adapters. they sell for around $10 a piece on E-bay right now. Imagine 361 adapters at $10 a piece. Thats almost the cost of the whole lot.

EDIT: There are only about 150 AC adapters. But still, that alone could be worth $1500 on E-bay if sold seperately.

I still think he should sell them as smaller lots though. Probably much easier to sell and could make more money if he did 4 lots of 90 for $1200 each or something like that.
