10% off eCoupon for Lenovo website: USPJULYT72

Supposed to be good thru July 22

Stack it with Tailormade, Fatwallet, and/or other promotional programs. Also Lenovo dropped prices yesterday and continues its HD upgrade incentives.

I believe this is good only for the T series.

Yes ... subject title changed.

These are the cheapest T-machines ever.

But folks in europe, canada and australia can only drool...

I don't understand why thinkpad prices are dropping so much in the US when the US dollar is falling so much this year against all other currencies. Thus in terms of economics, prices should actually rise in the US relative to elsewhere.

Please don't make me cry  I'm not totally fussed though because my T42 is more than adequate for me. But it is puzzling given that the Australian dollar is now worth 87 US cents and has been climbing rapidly for the past 6 months.

Ah, well...

Personally, I suspect the falling US dollar is becoming oversold. Eventually the greenback should bounce back some.

So perhaps now is a great time to transfer cash from Ozzie or Canuck dollars into greenbacks.

If I ordered a custom built T61 on July 17th from the Lenovo website direct that won't ship until Aug 2nd, will they charge me the original July 17th pricing or the actual pricing when shipped?

My unit's price dropped about $40 the other day on the website.

Thanks

If the price dropped immediately after you ordered, you can call the rep and ask them for a discount.

My price dropped two days after the order but it's only US$40. Maybe it's best to let it ride so as to not slow things up, plus my original discount was very, very steep. However my CC has not been charged yet .... only an authorization for the approx amount so far. I think I'll let it ride. Thanks.

Create & save an online quote, with the exact same specs.
Then call and they will price-match your existing order.

As I recall, they will only price-match once. So if you are going to ask for the current price, pick the right time to do it! :)

Is there a time limit for that one-time price match like 30 days after the order date or ..... ? My unit is not scheduled to ship until Aug 2 and I may not receive until the 8th or 9th (if all goes as planned).

Thanks!
