I don't own any X41 Tablets anymore so I'm selling some 4-Cell batteries I have remaining. There are FOUR (4) and all are new and in factory sealed boxes. Genuine IBM parts. Manufactured date is 10/25/05 and all I had opened from this batch (until last month when I sold my last Tablet) had tested above intended capacity. I don't expect these to differ. Guaranteed to work. Price is $56 each delivered to a mainland US address. Cash PayPal or Postal Money Order accepted (but if I know you from a previous transaction I'll even take a personal check if you can wait for it to clear).

E-Mail your questions or purchase intentions please (no PM's).

Since someone just asked via e-mail I figured I'd post this here...

Yes, you can receive a discount for buying more than 1. How much depends on whether they have to be shipped in the original boxes or if I can pack them in a USPS "flat rate" box. On a purchase of all four that can be a big savings. I'm not planing to retire on the proceeds of this sale! Make me an offer on them all.

Yes, the manufactured date was a while ago but even up to last month when I opened one it charged (like the rest) above the intended manufactured capacity. You can't get better than that. There wasn't noticeable wear on any from this batch so far and some performed through hundreds of cycles before I retired them. These are sealed boxes so I can't know how the remaining four will test out, but if they don't charge reasonibly near where IBM intended them to you don't have to keep them. My price is a third of what a new one from Lenovo would cost so what do you have to lose?

If you have an X41 Tablet do yourself a favor and get a 4-cell battery (or two). They convert your 8-cell tablet from a big laptop about the size and weight of a T-series machine, to a smaller & lighter laptop that is far more pleasant to carry and will actually fit in a 12" laptop sleeve. Imagine that? By the way, isn't that why you bought an X-series in the first place (a Thinkpad of low weight & size)? Even if your try one and don't like it you are only out about $50 (and that's assuming you just throw it out and don't re-sell it).

Only 2 left as of this morning. I'll pass on the same deal I just gave the other buyer... both for $102 delivered to mainlad US address if paid via cash PayPal. Of course I have to take them out of the sealed boxes to do this but the batteries are still protected via lots of bubble wrap. That's a $10 savings on 2.

So, who wants the last one? No complaints on the others sold from this batch so I assume this one is first rate too.

X41 Tablet batteries do not fit X40 or X41 non-Tablet models... and vice versa. If you don't have a Tablet they won't work. I hope that clears things up for those who have inquired.

I bought two of these from Yak. He was great to deal with, and the batteries arrived shipped USPS Priority even earlier than he expected. Both showed no cycles as promised, and hold a great charge. They really do make the X41T a better overall package(at least to me anyway).
