What is my R60 worth?

I bought a R60 last October which I am thinking of selling and wanted to what people here think it's worth. I am considering getting rid of it because I want a smaller laptop. If this is not the right forum, mods please feel free to move it. I bought it directly from Lenovo. The basic specs are:

9456-55U
1.66GHz Core Duo
1GB PC5300 Memory. 0 Open Slots
100GB Seagate 7200.1
SXGA+ Screen
UJ-850 DVD+/-RW
XP Home Though I'm Running Pro at the Moment

The laptop is in great shape. I haven't had any issues with it at all. There's hardly a mark on it. It runs very cool and quiet. There are no dead pixels and very minimal leakage at the bottom of the screen. If you have an opinion on the matter it would be greatly appreciated.

I'd say $675 to $775. That is based on two R60's I sold about 2 months ago for under $1000 delivered. Both were only 1-2 months old, had a 2GHz Core Duo, X1400 Graphics, single 1GB RAM stick, XP Pro license, Bluetooth, Fingerprint Reader, 9-Cell battery, etc., each which I've listed here is an upgrade to your machine (1.66GHz - 2x512MB - XP Home License - intergrated graphics - no Bluetooth - -no Fingerprint Reader - 6-Cell Battery). You can also come to a similar figiure by taking the price of a similar age T60 configured like yours and subtracting about 15-20% because R's (though really nice machines) are just not as popular as T's and don't hold their value as well. I am an R-series fan, but I can't fight that anymore as they are just a [censored] to sell.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the reply. I may just keep it. I really like the machine. It's the coolest and quietest laptop I've ever used. I don't need the latest and greatest for what I do. It's just a bit heavy for my needs at the moment.

Yak, I think that is gonna change with the R61 ... there is littel difference between R and T now ( R is a few mm thick and a few ounces heavy). You go ahead and buy R61s (keep it away from the eyes of Mrs. Yak, though!)
